Officials with the Florida Forest Service have closed a portion of Sandy Forest Road from Munson Highway to Charlie Foster Road for bridge replacement and road repair, according to a press release from the forest service.
The forest service will be handling the bridge removal and the new bridge will be installed by a contractor. The project is estimated to take five months.
