Sheriff's Office seeks missing elderly man

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office is seeking the community's assistance in locating Riley T. Barfield, 72, as part of a missing-endangered person investigation. Anyone who comes in contact with Barfield is asked to contact local law enforcement.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in locating a senior citizen as part of a missing-endangered person investigation. Riley T. Barfield, 72, was last seen at his Pace home at 9 a.m. on Monday, according to a press release.

Barfield, who suffers from medical conditions and is in need of medication, is believed to be driving a brown 4-door 2011 Chevy Malibu with a Florida license plate reading ‘314-QIE.’ The sheriff’s office believe he might be wearing a dark long sleeve button-up shirt with blue jeans and black sneakers.

Barfield is 5 feet 10 inches in height, weighing around 200 lbs. with grey hair and blue eyes. Barfield also regularly wears glasses.

Before being reported missing, Barfield stated he was interested in going to the Pensacola Dog Track.
