- Chrys here. Kudos to Connie Clark for another great Christmas parade. Coordinating events like these is remarkable, worthy of comment indeed. God bless her and all involved, helping, participating in order to delight little ones again, and even ‘big-uns’ too. Merry Christmas to all. Remember, Jesus is the reason for all seasons.
- This is Mary, a concerned senior citizen about the shooting in California and the president’s weak message. I’d like to know why we don’t have more guns for the military and the police and the sheriff’s office, all of the security guards and people that are in authority instead of this, that might ward off some of this. I’d like to the read the Constitution of the United States and the Preamble in case the President hadn’t seen it. He’ll never see this but he needs to hear it. We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

This is George and I agree strongly with Donald Trump. A lot of people think he doesn’t know what he’s doing but he’s got the only answers that will save this country. I mean stopping all Muslims coming into the United States. I strongly agree with at least until we defeat ISIS. I mean we’re just asking for trouble by letting them come in because they’re the ones starting all this stuff and he’s the only one who’s got the answers. The rest of them have got no backbone. Thank you.

This is George again. You know if somebody was to walk up and slug your wife in the face you’re not going to sit down and talk about it and see what you might want to do it with a bunch of other idiots. I mean you’d turn around and just beat him to death and let him know that that’s not what you do to your wife. Why can’t our politicians do the same thing to this country to defend it instead of sitting down talking about something they don’t know anything about to start with. Why we put them in there, I don’t know. It’s all talk. We nominate and elect officials because of what they say, never by what they do. Thank you.

Hi this is Bruce. I’m calling from Pace. I’m calling in reference to the courthouse like we’re all trying to figure out what’s going on here. It seems to me that the politics are taking place here instead of looking at the correct place to put the courthouse. Take all the politics out of it. Don’t build it in the flood zone. Don’t’ build it where there’s a possibility of the road coming through for DOT. Don’t build where you don’t have any parking spots. There’s a lot of reasons to not build the courthouse in downtown Milton or any other area around there for the things I just said. It looks like to me the politicians need to look at a piece of land wherever it’s going to be but it shouldn’t be in Milton because Milton’s not the right place to put it. It looks like there’s no coordination between the county and the state or whatever’s going to put these highways through to relieve the congestion of all the traffic going through Milton. I haven’t seen anything in the paper where they’ve actually got together and figured out where these roads are going to go. I think the next would be to figure where the roads are going to go and then go on from there and figure where the courthouse is going to go, but if they were in a company that had to make money for profit I think they’d have gone bankrupt many years ago because they’re spending more money than they’re making. It’s just my 2 cents worth but I hope the voters see how these people controlling our money and supposedly looking out for our interest are behaving. They need to look out and see what’s going on. Bye.

- This is Mary, a concerned senior citizen. On the speak out I called in about the people getting reports of goings on in San Bernardino and letting the people get shot I said that political correctness is not the right thing to do. It’s foolishness, okay.
- This is Tony again in East Milton. I just read the front page story about the courthouse and land might be in a wetland but we don’t know how much of the parcel is in a wetland. Please, I think any peanut in Alabama is smarter than the county commissioners. This is ridiculous. How about we get 20 feet above the water level instead of six inches above the water lever. Come on. Can’t we get just a little bit of common sense going here? Thank you.
