Hi, this is Kay. Shame on the county commissioners for showing such partiality to Public Works Director Tony Gomillion during the county administrator interview for the county administrator. Of the three final candidates for the position of county administrator, he was the only one who wasn’t asked his experience in such things as FEMA mitigation, county tax revenues, and administering a one-cent sales tax for the county. He was, instead, given the good-old-boy treatment, instead of treating him like the two qualified candidates that were also interviewed. Obviously Mr. Gomillion will be the new county administrator. Thank you.

Hi this is Jim. Elmira and Pine Street, it’s a flood zone, commissioners, officials of Milton. It’s a flood zone. Why would you build a building on a flood zone? And another point, who owns the property? Who’s getting paid big bucks to put that piece of whatever you want to call it in that flood zone? I’ve seen some pretty stupid things in my life but this tops the cake. Thank you.
