Pace resident Stephen Troy Webb, 30, is facing a possibility of life in prison after recently being found guilty of sexual battery upon a child less than 12 years of age along with lewd and lascivious molestation, according to a press release from State Attorney Bill Eddins Office.
An investigation by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office revealed Webb committed the sexual abuse on a six-year-old victim while providing babysitting services for working parents during the months of July and August of 2014. According to the press release, Webb committed the abuse on two separate occasions while babysitting the victim and her siblings.
Webb, who is scheduled to be sentenced by a circuit judge on November 3, is facing a maximum sentence of life in prison.
