Set aside October 9 for the St. Rose of Lima Fall Festival

October 9 to 11, St. Rose of Lima celebrates diversity in the community and parish with its International Fall Festival. Sample dishes from festive booths featuring Polish, Italian, Cajun, Hispanic, American and Filipino foods. Classic fair food always entices as well. Festival attendees will also see arts and crafts, plants, and bakery booths, as well as a petting zoo.

St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church invites everyone to its 34th annual International Fall Festival October 9 through 11. The festival opens on that Friday at 5 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. Saturday, the festival runs from at 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, at noon to 5 p.m. at 6451 Park Avenue.

The festival features International foods, live entertainment, dancing, bingo, petting zoo, children’s activities and raffle.  The church’s website www.srolparish.org says the event will include performers such as Chloe Channell, Mass Kunfuzion, The Johansen Family, Father Licari, New Fire, Chasing Fridays, and other local talents. “It also features a 5K Run/Walk, Classic Cars, Indian Motorcycles, Bingo, Raffle, Arts & Crafts, and many scrumptious different Festival Foods.”
