Bands on the Blackwater and Riverwalk Market

 The popular summer music series and market resume this fall. A variety of artists perform each week and a variety of vendors and food concessions will be on hand. Friday, The Blenders describe their sound as a “soulful groove biscuit with jazz gravy.” The band performs tunes by Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Prince, Elvis, and Steely Dan among others.

Sonshine Farms maze

New to the tour this year is the Sonshine Farms corn maze and pumpkin patch. The maze theme is “A Tribute to First Responders.” Partial proceeds from the event will be donated to the Santa Rosa Kid’s House. The event features a kids’ maze with a finger coloring game to play while inside and a big maze with a word find game and picture find game to play while proceeding through the maze.

Panhandle Community Theater’s “Don’t Touch That Dial”

The show is a television comedy musical variety show, directed by Barry Shuck with musical direction by Jennifer Chepan.

When: September 24 through 27 with 7:30 p.m. evening shows and 2:30 p.m. Sunday matinee

Country on the Sound

This first-year concert will be staged at the NavarreBeachCountyPark. Headline acts include country legends Trace Adkins and Big & Rich plus a half-dozen other up-and-coming artists.

When: September 25 and 26 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Sweet Season Farms Corn Maze and Fall Fun Festival

The maze this year honors the Pensacola Wahoos baseball team. The event gives families the opportunity to enjoy a day on a working Santa RosaCounty farm. Visitors can spend time navigating their way through an eight-acre corn maze and playing on 20 types of fun farm-themed equipment including a playground, hayrides, cow train rides, farm animals, corn popper jumping pillow and more. The farm is available for group bookings, field trips and other special events.

When: September 26 through November 1, Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in October with the exception of Oct. 31 for Halloween

Cost: Tickets start at $8 for “half cob” which includes corn maze, children’s playground, farm games, picnic area and hay bale maze. The “whole cob” admission includes unlimited access to all attractions ($5 fee for pony rides.) Flashlight maze (Friday nights) is $10 and a season pass $23.

Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch and Maze

The maze theme this year is “True Heroes” featuring firefighters, police, and military. Attendees can also go on hay rides and see the pumpkin cannon in action. They’ll also get a free cup of peanuts. Tours will be available of the new 5000-square-foot rustic barn wedding venue and special event space.

When: September 26 through November 1 Monday through Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cost: $10 for all activities, pumpkins only $6. Maze only $6. Kids under age 2 are free.

Birding Gulf Breeze Zoo

Explore the Gulf Breeze Zoo’s Walk-in Aviary and native bird observation area. Enrichment programs and meet-and-greet events scheduled throughout the month.
