David Craig Colville, 36, of Pace was sentenced to 330 years in prison on multiple counts of sexual battery including counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and conduct, according to a press release from State Attorney William Eddins Office.
A Santa Rosa County jury found Colville guilty of each count on July 16. Colville was sentenced by a circuit judge on Wednesday.
Colville committed the crimes between April 1, 2011 and December 31, 2013, according to the state attorney’s office. Colville began to engage in sexual acts with the victim when she was in the eighth grade. The victim reported the sexual abuse in September of 2014 which led to an investigation by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office. Colville was arrested on October 11, 2014.
