After months of negotiations and numerous meetings, the Santa Rosa County School District announced they have reached a tentative agreement with local teacher’s union, Santa Rosa Professional Educators.
According to a press release from the school district, the terms of the agreement will enable employees to collectively realize an average salary increase of 6.05 percent over the two year period based upon a pay for performance salary schedule. The contract, which would be for July, 2014 to June 30, 2016, still needs ratification from both the school board and the SRPE.
