Hi this is Joann. I would like to compliment Bruce on August 16 for his opinion. I feel he is definitely right on board with what needs to be done. If $4 million needs to be spent on decorating the bridge, then the historical society should pay for it. We need to put money downtown and other areas to promote business. Thank you.

Yes, this is Mary, a concerned senior citizen. This is referring to the young man, the military men that stopped the terrorist attack when they were on the train to Paris and how brave they were and how the people in Paris gave them medals for being heroes, but I haven’t heard Obama say anything. I haven’t heard him congratulate them or say how proud he was. Where is he, out playing golf or standing in front of a mirror saying “mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” Thank you.

Hi, this is James. Our teachers in Santa RosaCounty are getting screwed; the Santa Rosa education system is falling way behind Escambia and OkaloosaCounties. Again, our teachers started the new year without a contract. Every teacher should call in sick for a week to give the superintendant a message. We’ve always had a strong, well respected superintendant in Santa RosaCounty’s history, but not this one. Give our teachers a well deserved raise.

Yes this is George and this is to Patricia from Saturday, August 22’s Speak Out. She states that they’ve always voted for Bob Cole and because he’s against Sunday alcohol sales they’ll no longer vote for him. Well I never have voted for him but because he’s against Sunday alcohol sales I will vote for him. Thank you.
