Sept 12 Saturday Trail Equipment Maintenance Day 8:30 a.m. Blackwater River State Forest Forestry Center (11650 Munson Highway – Hwy 191). Come help inspect, inventory and conduct needed maintenance on mowers, trailers, chainsaws, loppers, and other hand tools. Bring a lunch because there is lots of maintenance needed to get our equipment back in shape for the Fall trail maintenance work that is needed. Sept 17 Thursday – Western Gate Chapter Meeting – 6:30 p.m. social, 7 p.m. meeting. (First Christian Church, 6031 Goodrich Dr., Pensacola) Meetings are open to the public. At monthly chapter meetings we share updates on FTA and FNST issues, greet fellow FTA members as well as those interested in hiking and other outdoor recreation activities. We also discuss past and future Chapter activities and often have guest speakers.
