SRMC reps share facts with Sunrise Kiwanis

Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis welcomed representatives from Santa Rosa Medical Center to their Wednesday morning 7a.m. meeting at Tanglewood Golf Club.  Shown receiving the Milton Pride tag holders are Amanda Saveikonis, marketing and business development, Dr David Wartenberg, board certified family medicine physician new to our area, and Glen Fielder director, Physician Practice.  Dr. Wartenberg moved to Santa Rosa County from Jacksonville to be nearer family after seventeen years of practice.  He spoke about lung disease and the extraordinary numbers worldwide.  Numbers in the United States are greater than the next three causes of death combined.  He spoke about new screening tests and the importance of early detection, which must be done before symptoms occur to be most effective.  He can be contacted for appointments at  623-0074.  Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis welcomes all and wants to buy breakfast for visitors at Tanglewood Golf Course every Wednesday at 7 a.m.
