Santa Rosa Art Association
Santa Rosa Art Association meets Aug 22 at the PensacolaState College/ Milton Campus, building 4900 from 9 to 12:30 a.m. All artist are invited to attend and bring what you are working on. The yearly dues are only $30, and $10 for students, grade 7-12.
Dragonfly Art Gallery
On September 4th the Dragonfly Gallery will host a show titled Art By The Square Foot. The show will be judged and prizes will be awarded. We encourage all Dragonfly artists and artists from the community to participate. We encourage all media of paint, drawing, photography, collage and clay to be involved.
The fee to enter the show is $20 per artist. Each can hang up to 3 pieces of work for that price. If an artist would like to have additional work hung the fee will be $5.00 for each additional piece. All work must be exactly 12" x 12" frame included.

Piecemakers Quilt Guild
The Piecemakers Quilt Guild of Milton will meet on the 2nd and the 4th Monday, August 10 and 24, 9:15 a.m., at the Santa Rosa County library, 5541 Alabama Street, Milton. The meeting is open to any one interested in quilting. Each month the quilt guild usually has a program and/or a sit and sew following the meeting. On Monday, August 10 at 6:00 p.m. at Pace Community Center, located on Chumuckla Hwy, 7/10 mile past N. of Berryhill Rd, Commissioner Jayer Williamson will cover two very important issues facing Santa Rosa County residents at this time. Pensacola Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 566 will hold its monthly meeting on August 15 beginning at 11 a.m.. All Purple Heart recipients, their spouses and lineal descendants are invited and encouraged to attend at 3220 Avalon Blvd., Milton. The Ladies Auxiliary will serve a feast following the meeting. 2015 Bon Fest
On Saturday, August 29 the 2015 Bon Fest will be held at WoodlandHeightsResourceCenter at 111 Berkeley Avenue, Pensacola. Admission is free. Gulf Coast Calligraphy Guild
The Gulf Coast Calligraphy Guild will have its monthly meeting today, August 8 at 9:30 a.m. at the Courts of Praise Church at the corner of Johnson Ave. and North Davis Hwy. across from West FL Hospital. The Guild is open to anyone interested in the art of beautiful writing, regardless of level. Every meeting is followed by a workshop, teaching a specific type of lettering or other useful topic for creating beautiful cards, documents, etc.
