The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Derrick Christopher Smith of Navarre on a arrest warrant regarding a felony molestation of a juvenile under the age of 12.
According to a press release, the sheriff’s office believes Smith could possibly be in Santa Rosa County or he could have fled to Tallahassee or North Carolina.
Smith, who is described as a white male, weighing at 175 lbs at six foot four inches tall, was last seen on Friday, June 12. According to the Sheriff’s office, Smith was last seen with a clean shaved head.
There is $500,000 bond in this case.
