Virginia Harmon Anderson, played by Alice Canny, sneaks up on two of her sisters, Katie Harmon Campbell, played by Jennifer Chepan, and Dana Harmon Malley, played by Jennifer King.

This weekend at the Panhandle Community Theatre, Director Patty Barry’s presentation of Topher Payne’s Beached Wails continues. Up-and-coming Atlanta playwright, Topher Payne, tells the story of four sisters on their annual summer trip to Gulf Shores leaving their husbands and children at home.

From the press release, “This year things get a little crazier than usual…A hurricane named Lewis hits suddenly, leaving no way out. Tensions rise with the sisters confronting old wounds, secret desires and new heartbreaks. They are forced into communication through an interesting visitor who attempts to referee it all.”

The show stars Alice Canny as Virginia Harmon Anderson, Michelle Barlow as Brenda Harmon Graham, Jennifer Chepan as Katie Harmon Campbell, Jennifer King as Dana Harmon Malley, and Jason Barlow as Randy Bradford.
