Each year the Santa Rosa Art Association members creatively decorate school notebooks to make journals for homeless children.   They are given to Dr.  Karen Barber, with the Santa Rosa Schools who is charge of the Federal programs for homeless children and youth.  Homeless children often are moved about frequently and have little to call their own.  These journals give them something small to carry from place to place, in which they can journal feelings, draw, or just doodle.

The SRAA, Inc. is open to anyone from in the Tri County area interested in art in any form; our member’s artistry includes talent in any medium including: woodworking, quilting, stained glass, jewelry, fiber and paint.  For more information contact 995-7056 or go on line to santarosaartassociation.com.
