Grateful for good deed

On April 25, 2015, my daughter and I were traveling from Tallahassee to Pensacola and stopped in Pace at the Winn-Dixie between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  On returning to our car, I dropped my wallet in the parking lot. We were told that a gentleman found it and took it to the Winn Dixie Customer Service area.  There, they found my phone number inside my wallet and called me to tell me that it had been found.

When I returned to the Winn Dixie, the employees in customer service politely gave my wallet back to me.  I was so happy to learn that not only were all of my photo IDs and credit cards perfectly in place, but the $200 cash remained as well.  I asked the employees in customer service if they could tell me the name of the gentleman that turned in my wallet, but they said he did not leave his name.  I was able to thank the Winn Dixie employees in person that day, but I am trying to make sure that the gentleman who returned by wallet knows how much I appreciate what he did. It was such a kind and honest gesture.  It make me feel special and glad to know there are people like him in your community.  If he reads this letter, I want him to know that I sincerely appreciate his good deed.
