A Pace man was arrested Saturday for a hit and run involving death on Highway 90 in Milton, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Alex Mariel Ramos Menendez, 21, was traveling west on Highway 90 in Milton and hit Winford Lee Eddings, 37, Milton. Reports said Eddings was attempting to cross the highway walking north. Eddings was taken to Santa Rosa Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries later. Reports said Menendez was located later at Circle K at the intersection of Ward Basin Road and Highway 90 where he was arrested and taken to Santa Rosa County Jail. He is being held with $500,000 bond.
