Santa Rosa Art Association, Inc. to host 2013 Best of Show artist from Great Gulf Coast Art Show. Saturday, April 25. the SRAA meeting and workshop will host Nita Jones, who will demonstrate the art of handmade papers. Ms. Jones, an accomplished artist in drawing, painting, art history and papermaking, has works in collections across the United States and has awards from many Southern Art Shows. A past touring artist for the Mississippi Arts Commission, she has taught on the school and university level, as well as to individual groups.
The workshop takes place in building 4900 in the back of the Pensacola State College Milton campus and begins at 10 a.m. Non-members of the SRAA, Inc. are asked for a $10 tuition fee for the workshop. To make reservations call 995-7056.

St. Mary's Arts and Crafts Show
Calling all vendors, artists and crafters to participate in the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Annual Spring Arts and Crafts Fair May 1 and 2. This two-day event will be held at the historic church located at 6849 Oak Street, Milton. Hours are Fri. and Sat. from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Join us for this much anticipated event to showcase your custom jewelry, woodcrafts, candles and other creative handiwork. In addition to the arts and craft selections, the church will have a porch sale of donated items to benefit its missions efforts. Attendees look forward to this annual event to purchase one-of-a-kind treasures. The Episcopal Church Women will be selling baked goods, goodies, jams, jellies and other canned goods, and the Men’s Group will be grilling hamburger lunches both days. Inside booth space is available for both days at $40. Booths outside are $20 a day or $35 for both days. Set up are Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Space is limited. Reserve a spot today.
