Darliene Stanhope has lived in Santa Rosa County her entire life.
She received her first camera at 5 years old and it was love at first sight. At 17 with the monies she saved from her first job she purchase her first 35mm camera, a Olympus OM-10 with the manual adapter, giving her total control over her photography. She later bought a used Nikon F-1 and in 2005 made the jump to digital. Darliene loves shooting landscapes and candid photos of people. She works for Santa Rosa County Planning and Zoning Department. She started work as a cartographer and now is a planner. Darliene’s work is on exhibit at the Dragonfly Gallery, 6815 Caroline Street in Milton. The Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
