Speak Out April 15

Thursday 6:22 a.m.

This is Bobby. You know the people that want the courthouse in downtown are always talking about how many parking places there are. Well I guess when they have Scratch Ankle and the bands going on at the same time, we will find out. They want more people out there, but there is no place to park and personally I think Scratch Ankle should move to the fair grounds. They don’t have to be downtown. Thank you.

Thursday 5:38 p.m.

Yes, This is Raymond and I would like to speak to the people of Santa Rosa County and who all will listen. It’s really strange matter going on in this country. If we are going to be a United States, then we better start acting like it. There is too much happening that shouldn’t be and I want to bring up the facts and the matters. It’s already known in the news every week and there are times for prayer in the country again and look upon as each man as human and treat each man as we want to be treated. We know the difference between right and wrong. We know how we should live and who we should live for. It’s time to start doing it. Children are watching and God knows.

Friday 11:29 a.m.

Yes, this is Jesse from Pace. I just want to remind all of the morons who can’t read the speed sign or don’t pay attention or don’t care. Cooley Drive we have a speed limit of 20 miles per hour. Then there is a sign that says watch for kids, right under it. If you can’t see that then you need to get your eyes checked. If a kid playing runs out in the road accidentally and hit them, then it isn’t going to be an accident.  So If you can’t see the road signs or tell what they are, then you need to back to driving school. They are still driving 50 to 60 down Cooley Drive. Thank you.

Saturday 6:16 a.m.

Yes this is Nita. I ordered an AA book for my neighbor. When it arrived I opened it up  and inside was a $100 wine voucher inside with an alcoholic anonymous book.  Can you imagine that?  What is going on this world? Thank you.

Saturday 6:18 a.m.

Yes this is Nita again. If you voted for Ashley Lay, then your vote actually counted. She has been in Tallahassee and all over the place. She is actually working. I have never heard so much about the city council as when Ashley Lay was voted in. Thank you Ashley and way to go.

Saturday 12:48 p.m.

Hi, this is a redneck from East Milton. In regards to the article in Saturday’s paper of the ‘redneck theme’ rejected. Milton Councilmen Lay, Johnson, Messick and Reverend Smith need to get over it. From East Milton, Milton, Jay, Munson and probably 90 percent of the other folks can call themselves quote ‘rednecks’ it is something we do hold dear to our hearts as Mr. Guess stated. It is and was unfortunate that the Chumuckla Athletic Association cancelled the Chumuckla Christmas Parade, but I don’t care what kind of event a town has.  There is always going to be someone who doesn’t care about picking up after themselves and are throwing things on the ground.  But these council members need to get over it of the folks like Mr. Guess and Mr. Baker are suggesting. Thank you and have a good day.

Saturday 3:08 p.m.

This is Snoops. Wake up, Milton. Check it out if you think it isn’t true. Thousands of red light tickets were thrown out by south Florida judges because they are illegal. Quit billing the citizens of Santa Rosa County, it is an illegal activity. Thank you.

Saturday 5:09 p.m.

Yeah, this is Bobby. I guess it’s a good thing we got the city council to look out for us because some old rednecks don’t have enough sense to know what we want to see and what we don’t. Probably most of the residents of Santa Rosa County consider themselves redneck and as far as keeping Milton classy. I got news for Ms. Lay, it isn’t classy now. You got a bar up there and sometimes you an event up there and complain about the people making comments from bar and being loud and not being family conducive.
