Some the activities include a basketball tournament, Wii and Xbox video game competitions, an a movie and free tutoring. In addition to the games, attendees can also let their children loose inside an inflatable bounce house, while parents will enjoy the music from the school’s band or participate in karaoke.
The event will also be selling food, barbecue dinner plates are $8, other snack items will also be available, McClain said.
The funds raised from this event will benefit the teachers at the school by going towards the school’s general budget, or school supplies for teachers.
