This is A.W. I agree with Joyce. The log trucks are not only causing Berryhill Road to deteriorate but also they are dangerous as they drive too fast. Something has to be done to get them off of Berryhill Road. Thank you for letting me speak out.

The solution for the transportation cost shortfall is a no-brainer. Raise the gasoline tax. Let’s explore that. Escambia County’s gasoline tax is 5 cents higher than ours yet when I’m over in Pensacola I find myself frequently buying my fuel since they are cheaper than the costs in Santa Rosa County. So, if SRC raises its gasoline tax, the overall cost to fuel a car may go down here in this county. Now I’m being facetious. I know it probably won’t, but I’ve always wondered why the cost for fuel is less in Escambia County when their tax was 5 cents higher. Big oil must be to blame. Anyway, the increase in the gasoline tax would seem to have the potential to have the least impact on the citizens in this county.

Hi, this is George. This is for Bobby. I see that you have no sympathy for the victim at the KFC in Milton. I am a retired business man from New York State. If I treated my customers like that, I would not be enjoying Milton, Florida. I would fire all of them if they were my employees. That’s for sure. Thank you.

Hey this is Dennis Dean. Maybe our county does not have a tax income problem but it rather has a spending problem. If we the people have more money going out than is coming in, we’re in a world of hurt. For our local government, no problem, just raise the taxes.
