anta Rosa Medical Center’s monthly “Dinner with the Doc” and “Lunch & Learn” educational seminars will continue in April with a focus on hearing loss and aquatic therapy.
• Dinner with the Doc will be held on Monday, April 13 at 6 p.m. Sabrina Kaestle, AuD, an audiologist with The Hearing Doctor in Milton will present “Recognizing Hearing Loss.” Dr. Kaestle’s presentation will focus on tips for recognizing hearing loss in yourself and others and will include an overview of hearing aid options available today. She will also answer any specific questions attendees have about hearing loss.
• Lunch & Learn will be held on Thursday, April 16 at 11:30 am. Tammy Passmore from Santa Rosa Medical Center’s Physical Therapy department will present “Health Benefits of Aquatic Therapy.” Ms. Passmore’s presentation will educate attendees on the benefits of aquatic therapy both as a method of physician-prescribed physical therapy and as part of a regular exercise program. She will offer information on what’s specifically available to patients and members of the community at our hospital and answer questions.
Both seminars will be held in the Locklin Education Building at the Santa Rosa Medical Center campus on Berryhill Road and will include a healthy meal. The seminars are free, but registration is required. Please call the RSVP line at 626-5060 or visit www.srmcfl.com/register to reserve your seat.
