Milton Mayor Wes Meiss, is shown receiving the Milton Pride tag holder from "Sunrise" Kiwanis President John Stone. Meiss hit the ground running after his election last fall and explained how many new projects were implemented and many more are in the works. He is starting the Mayor’s Kitchen Cabinet at City Hall where he will cook a pancake breakfast and talk to anyone that wants to discuss city business. Meiss told of landscaping grants, new businesses downtown, new city recycling and sewer plans, and told of the new Milton website where one of the new options is a link to listen to pre-recorded meetings. Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis welcomes all to join them for breakfast at 7a.m. at Tanglewood Golf Course, Wednesdays.
