An accident on Interstate 10 at mile marker 30, Friday, involved four vehicles, and six people with minor to serious injuries, but fortunately no fatalities, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
Davonte Brown was travelling east on I-10 with Tremarius Harvey and Michael McBride, all of Pearl, MS. According to the report, Brown said an unknown vehicle struck the rear of his Mercury when he changed lanes to the inside causing him to lose control and spin across the median into westbound traffic. The report said Aaron Parris of Pensacola in a Mitsubishi Eclipse first struck Brown followed by James Cain of Crestview in a Ford Ranger, and finally Raymond Konzelman of Milton in a Dodge Durango, before coming to rest across the inside lane.
The report indicated serious injury to Brown and Konzelman who were taken to area hospitals. No alcohol was involved and all were wearing seatbelts according to the report.
