The West Florida Baptist Academy Lady Conquerors defeated the Lady Eagles of East Hill Christian on Tuesday.
Ashtyn Kaunitz and Mary Kelly provided enough offense to lead WFBA to victory. Kaunitz was 5 for 5 and Kelly was 2 for 3, including a 3-run homer. Both players finished with 4 RBIs each. Faith Rolfe produced her first 3 RBIs for the Lady Conquerors off 2 hits.
Four Lady Conquerors combined for a one-hit, five-strikeout performance. East Hill scored 2 runs off 3 Lady Conqueror walks. Esther Burdick recorded the win with 0 earned runs, 0 walks and 2 strike outs to compliment her 4-4 performance at the plate.
