Teri Bowman of Pensacola plays for Santa Rosa American Poolplayers Association. She qualified for the national APA 2015 8-Ball Classic by winning in regional competition on March 7th in Ft. Walton Beach. Bowman will be joining amateur pool players from throughout North America to compete in the world's most rewarding 8-Ball singles championship, with cash and prizes totaling $280,000.
Bowman is a member of APA and participates in weekly League play at Oops Alley. She was one of 17 Santa Rosa APA league players who competed in the 8-Ball Classic Spring Regional on March 7. Single Regional is held twice per year, spring and fall. Bowman will receive travel assistance from the APA and hotel stay for the National Singles Championship. The NSC will be April 28 through May 3 in Las Vegas.
Last year, more than 34,000 8-Ball shooters qualified to play in the regional event. All players pay a one-time entry fee of $20.
