Officials with the Florida Department of Transportation say an anticipated completion date of May 2015 regarding the construction along Avalon Boulevard. Tanya Branton, an FDOT public information specialist, offered an update on the project.
“Crews are performing construction activities on the new bridge for the southbound roadway and continue paving operations along the northbound lanes. Weather permitting, within the next couple of weeks the contractor will shift north and southbound traffic between McDonald’s and the bowling alley to the northbound roadway to complete repairs to the southbound lanes,” Branton stated in an email.
