Santa Rosa County is offering free movies each Friday night during the month of March with “Flicks on the Field.” According to a press release from the county’s public information office, the free community event offers newly released family movies on a 43-foot screen on the fields of the Pace Athletic and Recreation Association (PARA) Football Complex, located on 3536 Limbaugh Lane in Pace. Approximately one-half mile north of the U.S. Hwy. 90 and Woodbine Road intersection.
Each film begins at 7 p.m.
· March 6 – “The Penguins of Madagascar”
· March 13 – “Big Hero 6”
· March 20 – “How to train Your Dragon 2”
· March 27 – “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb”
Concessions will be available or attendees can bring their own food and drinks. Like all of the Santa Rosa County parks, smoking and alcohol are not permitted.
Flicks on the Field will serve as a fundraiser for PARA Youth Sports. A variety of sponsorships ranging from $250 to $2,000 are currently available.
