A Milton man was arrested Wednesday for 2 counts of sexual assault and battery by a person older than 18 on a victim under 12 years of age, a capital felony. Jon Eric Dowdy, 30, was named by the victim at the Gulf Coast Kid’s House during an interview. Reports said the victim told officials about “bad stuff,” and the victim needed to tell because of being scared. Reports said Dowdy denied the allegations against him. Dowdy is being held without bond at the Santa Rosa County Jail.
