The Chumuckla Athletic Association hosted a Christmas Basketball Tournement for elementary and middle school girls Saturday.
Coach Mary Hatfield's Chumuckla Indians, Coach Mark Hendricks's Jay Tigers and Coach Johnny Johnson's Chumuckla Frogs competed in the elementary division. The Tigers won the division 2 to 0.
The middle school division was action packed and very competitive. All three teams went one and one and the winner, West Florida Baptist Academy, was decided by the point differential. Kaitlyn Campbell's Chumuckla Thunder defeated Hendricks's middle school Tigers, 14 to 13. The Tigers rebounded by defeating West Florida Baptist Conquerors 19 to 15 and the Conquerors finished the day defeating the Thunder 23 to 12.
