Baldwin estimates the turn out to be in the thousands.

Although the weather didn’t feel like Christmas, the atmosphere did. With Carolers and children’s chorus groups singing holiday classics near the Santa Rosa County Courthouse building. Local artists showed off their talent by painting near or inside local businesses in the downtown area.

There were plenty of actives for area families including watching a movie outdoors, riding in a horse-drawn carriage or getting their picture taken with Santa Claus at Riverwalk Park.

Several area businesses also welcomed attendees to visit their holiday decorated stores throughout the evening.

The event ended with the ‘Christmas on the River’ boat parade.
