Speak Out November 26

Hi this is Lovey. One of the reasons why I wanted a local paper is to know what’s happening in the area. I’ve very disappointed in the coverage of crimes and unlawful occurrences in the area of the Hamilton Bridge and Glover.

Editor’s note: We covered crimes on Hamilton Bridge Road recently and you can find them on our website at www.srpressgazette.com.

I am against any new courthouse being built. I’m looking at what Hargraves is doing. We want the old courthouse maintained.

Friday 6:47 p.m.

Hey this is Dennis Dean. In reference to Ferguson, Missouri, a group of people say “we want justice. If you do not give us the verdict we want, we will burn down the city and the state.” Sounds almost like gang extortion. Will the established system work or will it cave to outside pressure?

Saturday 1:46 p.m.

I would like to know how many deputies in the Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Department does it take to arrest one person, Gregory Sweeney, on Monday. While traveling on Highway 90 and we pulled over in front of Burger King because we heard sirens coming. We counted one black charger and 6 or 7 deputy cars plus the K9 SUV. To me, that’s a waste of money. This is Joyce from Milton.
