Speak Out November 29

This is Bobby. The only thing on the news now is about the decision in Ferguson and I have heard the President and everybody else talk about it but none of them talk about the real problem. The real problem is defying authority. The reason Mr. Brown was killed was not obeying the police. It was because he tried to take the gun away from the policeman. If you would teach your kids just to obey authority from the teachers and police and everybody else, a lot of this would stop. Thank you.

Yes, how sad it is to look at the news this morning in Missouri. That policeman got away with everything, in the meantime that young man died. He went shopping. He got married. He had fun. He did not give a damn about the family or anybody in the country. He just thinks of himself. We’re not dogs. We’re people. I’m not black but I’m a person and I have feelings for the people. I hope that policeman never forgets that day and he has to be in hiding all the time. Thank you. This is Maria in Milton.

Yup, I think it’s time for Dennis Dean and Bobby to run for Congress. These guys have all the answers and more complaints than the law allows.

Tuesday 12:16 p.m.

Hey, my comment is on the courthouse. The people voted for it to be in downtown Milton. Now I read in the newspaper, Don Salter and the commissioners are saying they will decide the best place for the courthouse, so why give us a vote? I didn’t realize the county commissioners are now dictators. I have always voted but if they can overrule the people’s vote, why bother? Thank you. Doreen.
