Combat vets ride for those without rides

Saturday, members of the Santa Rosa County Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) held a ride benefiting the Vets2VA program. They covered the entire city of Milton, north to south, east to west according to Don Guido, original CVMA treasurer and point of contact for the ride. CVMA riders started at the Veterans Memorial Plaza and headed to Night Train, to Shaggy’s, VFW Post 4833, and finally to the Cove Pub. Guido said the run takes place the first weekend every November to benefit the 23,000 neglected veterans in SRC who have no transportation of their own.Vets2VA is there, he said, to transport them to their medical appointments. This year, according to Guido, the riders raised $800 for the service. See the start of their ride here.
