Dear Editor,
This county has become as most other counties across the country. For years now a new courthouse has been the talk and nothing done. Why can’t the city and county work together for all the people who live here. Why does land have to be the problem as much as it is here? Why the fuss? Is it greed? There are two buildings in the city limits ready for use but will greed stop it from happening? Will the buddy system kill what should have been done? Friendship should never get in the way of business; else this is why there isn’t a new courthouse. Leadership nowadays is crooked, preferring money before business. Hopefully, that isn’t the case in Santa Rosa County but it should be checked out. Greed’s best friend is stupidity. This isn’t the first penny tax. What has happened to all the money over the years?
