The Panthers were ready to get it over in three sets. They wanted to advance in District Tournament action for a chance at being the District Champion.
Pace High was ousted Tuesday night by Milton High in the 1-6A District Volleyball Tournament.
Milton won three straight sets: 25-21, 25-19, and 25-17.
The Panthers were led by Mikaela Worley with 27 kills along with seniors Hannah Wingate’s 36 assist and Jayci Floyd’s 14 digs.

The Jay Royals made it to the semi-finals Tuesday night in 1-1A District Tournament play to match up with the Baker Gators. The Gators ended Jay’s volleyball season by winning three straight matches: 25-23, 25-7, 25-23.
Emily Dobson had 7 assist and teammate Emily Russell finished the night with 5 kills.
