According to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office, last night, just after midnight, deputies responding to a Pace address discovered a subject had been stabbed in the upper left chest area with a butcher knife. Deputies quickly located the suspect and took her into custody without further incident. The suspect was booked at the Santa Rosa County Jail and then transferred to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Pensacola. The victim was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. SRSO has not released further information in regards to the victim because the case is considered domestic violence related.
