Santa Rosa County School Superintendant Tim Wyrosdick, left, is shown after being presented with the Milton Pride tag holder from John Stone President of Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis. Supt. Wyrosdick presented some eye opening numbers to the club, including his initial budget of $291 million, which sounded like a lot of money, until you hear that over $271 million, or 84 percent goes to employees. The money is well spent with the outcome being only six districts in Florida that are ‘A’ schools and Santa Rosa County is one of them. That fact resulted in the influx of over four times the expected added enrollments at the beginning of school. Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis welcomes all to their Wednesday 7am meeting at Tanglewood Golf Course, where breakfast is served and all are welcome.
