Volleyball season is in its sixth week of play for area high schools.
Milton hosted West Florida Tech Tuesday night, Sept. 23. The Panthers handed them a loss in three easy sets 25-20, 25-23 and 25-19.
After Monday’s night win the Panthers have 5 wins and 7 losses overall. In their 1-6A district they are 4 wins and 3 losses.

The previous night Milton had traveled to Navarre. Each of the four sets were extremely close. Worley finished the four matches with 1 ace, 22 kills, 3 assists, 21 digs. Wingate put up 37 assists for her panthers in the loss. Milton fell 24-26, 25-17, 30-28, and 25-21.
After back-to-back games Worley had complied 39 kills and 27 digs. Wingate kept the ball in play with 63 assists for her teammates.

Jay was on the road for back-to-back games Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 22 and 23. The Royals lost in five exciting matches against the Laurel Hill Hoboes 25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 29-27 and 9-15. Against Freeport the Royals were defeated 19-25, 20-25 and 18-25.
