To kick off October breast cancer awareness month, Woodlands Medical Specialists Oncologists and Breast Health Radiologist will be onsite to answer frequently asked questions about mammography and breast cancer and to spread awareness of early detection of breast cancer through screening mammograms.
The event is free for women and will also include health screenings, exercise instruction by Pensacola Barre and healthy foods by Pensacola Cooks. Research shows that a healthy lifestyle, including diet and exercise, can lower one’s risk of breast cancer.
