Dear Editor,
A long-active Christian group (Inter-Varsity Fellowship) was de-recognized by the
system because the organization's rules required their leader to be a Christian.
One student suggested that they should apply for membership in the Atheists or the
gay clubs and run for a leadership position. Want to guess how long that would last?
Talk about liberal, politically-correct hypocrisy! I was listening to Sen. Harry Reid being interviewed regarding Obama's amnesty plan, and his plan for administrative action because Congress would not approve it. I never heard one single hard-ball question from any of the Obama-compliant, liberal press. Then Reid said "….as far as I know, the President has the power to act administratively…." If that is as far as Reid knows, he is admitting he does not know Constitutional law! There are concrete immigration laws, passed constitutionally, that deal with our borders, deportation, etc. Unfortunately, the gullible public and compliant elected officials will gobble up Reid's comment as gospel.
Am I the only one who picked up on Reid's "…as far as I know…"?
