The Tate Aggies traveled from Escambia County Monday night, Sept. 8th to play the Pace Patriots.
The Aggies got their hopes up easily as they quickly won the first match of the night, but that first match victory was all Coach Gough and his Lady Patriots would allow in their own gymnasium.
The Patriots came back after falling the first match, 19-25 to capture the next three matches in a row 25-19, 25-8, 25-15.
With a combined team effort for the win Pace finished the game with of 39 kills, 37 assists, 15 blocks, 10 aces and 62 digs.
Patriot Caroline Mayne connected on all 16 of her 16 serves with teammate Laini Vermillion serving 29 times and capitalizing on 28 of the 29.
