A Holt woman was killed Saturday afternoon in an automobile accident in Okaloosa County. Florida Highway Patrol reports Pamela Joy McDonald, 53, was traveling westbound on Johns Road in the curved portion of the roadway. The second vehicle, driven by David Franklin Alger, 53, Crestview, was traveling eastbound, approaching the curve and McDonald. According to FHP, McDonald failed to negotiate the curve and collided with Alger. McDonald was pronounced deceased at North Okaloosa Medical.
