Walter Schumann, also known as Captain White Beard, and the rest of the Blackwater Pyrates mourn the loss of their navigator, Philip "Yellow Beard" Boswell. Schumann said, "Our trusted navigator ensured the pyrate ship Pearl was steered on the proper course to and from all the events. He was an integral member of the crew and was loved by all. A caring man, he was always there to lend a hand and help. The Milton, Bagdad community has lost a true friend. We wish Pyrate "Yellow Beard" fair winds and following seas and a restful eternal life." Services, Schumann said, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Hickory Hammock Baptist Church in Milton with the Pearl in the funeral procession.
