SRSO: Milton woman charged with burglary with assault

Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office reports an incident on Saturday at 10:23 in Milton regarding a disagreement of ownership over a dog led to an arrest for assault and burglary. Katelynn Marie Coulier, 19, Milton, was arrested after entering an ex-boyfriend’s home without permission to retrieve a dog. Reports said Coulier moved from the residence a month ago but did not take all of her belongings. Reports said she entered the home through an unsecured back door. Deputies said Coulier confronted the ex-boyfriend and others at the residence and punched one of the witnesses and began to drag the dog to the door. Reports said Coulier and the witness had to be separated by others. Reports said Coulier’s current boyfriend was outside sitting in his car while the incident happened. Coulier was charged with battery, touch or strike and burglary with assault or battery and was released with $2,500 bail.
