According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Tuesday, an accident between a Ford Mustang and a Mack truck resulted in a fatality. Reports said Alexis Penton was driving the Mustang north on State Road 87 with passengers, Ronni Stone and 2-year-old Payton Lee Stone. Mark Williams driving the Mack was coming south. Penton lost control of the Mustang, according to reports, and crossed the center line of the roadway. The front left of the Mack struck the right side of the Mustang spinning the car counter-clockwise to its final rest facing south on the east shoulder of the road according to reports. The Mack went off the road and struck a standing pine tree where it remained. Reports indicated all persons were wearing seatbelts, but Ronni Stone did not survive. Reports said Payton Lee Stone is in critical condition at Sacred Heart Hospital.
