Graffiti 4-H style

Jasmin Rhea, 17-year-old artist and 3-year 4-H member combined her love of painting and the club’s agricultural tradition, Thursday, in a relatively new urban art form called moss graffiti. Rhea said she’s never worked on an outdoor project and has only painted with acrylic on canvas until now. The biggest difference she said is waiting for it to grow. Driving down Dogwood Drive, motorists can see the progress on the fence across from the Santa Rosa Christian School entrance. Caskey said owner Sharon Carmichael, 4-H club president, will help by regularly watering the moss and covering it with a tarp to protect it from a forecasted rain.
