The Santa Rosa Tea Party Patriots will hold their first Candidate Forum for the offices of County Commissioner and School Board for Santa Rosa County, Monday, July 14 at 6 p.m., at Pace Community Center – Chumuckla Hwy – 7/10 mile past Berryhill Rd Intersection. All candidates running for County Commission Districts 2 and 4 have confirmed their participation and five of the seven candidates for School Board Districts 1, 3 & 5 have confirmed their participation.
We will have a brief presentation on the upcoming primaries by County Election Supervisor, Tappie A. Villane. Each candidate will have three minutes to state their position and three additional minutes to answer three questions submitted in advance. County Commission questions will all be the same, and will be related to the specific office, and the School Board Candidates will have the same amount of questions related to the office. This is not a debate, but a forum where candidates can state their position and answer important questions.
